Senior Manager Financial Controls

The Senior Manager will oversee the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of internal control frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and corporate policies.

Our client is a Financial Services firm.

Description

• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
• Prepare and review internal financial statements and related workpapers.
• Ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Identify and remediate control deficiencies.
• Manage KPIs, reconciliation processes, and accounting policy implementations.
• Partner with business units, external auditors, and internal auditors to ensure timely remediation of control deficiencies and drive continuous process improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to control owners across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and risk awareness.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields
• Strong technical accounting and documentation skills
• Experience with CECL, and previous exposure to NIE reporting
• CPA is required
• 7+ years of experience
