Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 7 years of construction experience, specifically in healthcare or private school construction. Description

• Manage all on-site construction activities from start to completion
• Oversee and direct subcontractors and construction workers
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
• Maintain project safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with building codes
• Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution
• Maintain project documentation, including daily logs and reports
• Provide leadership and direction to the on-site construction team

Profile

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Superintendent with experience in either healthcare or private school construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes
• Ability to manage multiple aspects of a construction site and solve on-the-spot issues
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, site plans, and project specifications
• Knowledge of project management software and scheduling tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
