They specialize in school construction in addition to other public and municipal projects. They offer great stability and didn't have any reduction in workforce during the pandemic.
Description
- Project Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of construction projects.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Budget & Cost Control: Track expenses, monitor budgets, and assist with cost-saving strategies.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Support communication and scheduling with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Schedule Management: Help maintain project timelines and identify potential delays.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure work meets contract specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Communication & Coordination: Facilitate updates between project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Procurement & Logistics: Assist in material procurement, deliveries, and inventory tracking.
- Risk & Safety Management: Identify potential risks and support safety compliance initiatives.
Profile
- History of commercial, K12, or light industrial projects
- Candidate must have prior exposure to concrete & masonry scopes of work
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate construction teams, subcontractors, and other personnel on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills to convey project expectations, updates, and changes to appropriate parties
- Able to identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as unexpected delays, design changes, or unforeseen obstacles.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, local building codes and regulations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Proficient in managing construction schedules
- Familiarity with construction contracts
- Capability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, etc.
- Familiarity with construction management software (Bluebeam)

- Base salary contingent on experience 75-95K
