Sr. Sustaining Engineer- Medical Device- Acton, MA

The Sr. Sustaining Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for current products currently on the market while growing a team of manufacturing and process engineers along the way. The team is seeking to add 10 new talented individuals to their production, supply chain and quality team throughout 2025.

Description

The Sr. Sustaining Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

• 50% Sustaining engineering efforts, focusing on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• 25% New Product Introduction (NPI), working with newly designed and developed devices.
• 25% Project and program management.
• Drive Lean initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Principal Manufacturing Engineer.

Profile

The successful Sr. Sustaining Manufacturing Engineer will have what follows:

• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• Strong background in sustaining engineering (not NPI).
• Hands-on experience with a focus on technical work, not management.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working with electromechanical equipment or devices.
