System Administrator (VMWare/AWS)
The System Administrator (VMware/AWS) will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the infrastructure needed to support business operations. This position focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of systems within a fast-paced business services environment.

Description
* Manage full lifecycle of server infrastructure including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring,
and upgrades (Windows and Linux environments).
* Install, support, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based applications and operating systems,
ensuring compliance with security policies and vendor best practices.
* Administer cloud infrastructure and services within AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and
CloudWatch.
* Build and manage virtual environments using VMware vSphere, including deployment, troubleshooting,
and resource optimization.
* Configure and support Active Directory (GPOs, OU management), DNS/DHCP, and Office 365 tenant
services.
* Proactively identify and remediate potential risks related to security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations,
or outdated software through patch management and upgrades.
* Automate administrative processes and repetitive tasks using scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
* Monitor system health and performance using observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or
Grafana.
* Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
* Maintain up-to-date documentation including runbooks, SOPs, IT policies, network diagrams, and asset
inventories.
* Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and collaborate with security teams to support audits,
incident response, and vulnerability remediation.
* Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues, working closely with helpdesk and engineering teams.
* Train and mentor junior staff or end users on system usage, industry standards, and organizational tools.
* Participate in on-call rotation and support after-hours maintenance windows, as needed.
* Other ad hoc projects/tasks as assigned.
