Senior Continuous Improvement Manager
The Continuous Improvement manager is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality within the company's precision engineering and manufacturing operations. Description
Continuous Improvement Manager key responsibilities:
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments to drive operational excellence.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for enhancement.
- Create and manage project plans to ensure timely and successful process improvements.
- Streamline manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Drive quality improvement efforts to meet precision engineering standards.
- Mentor and train employees in Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all operational activities.
Profile
Successful candidate for the Continuous Improvement Manager role:
- B.S. degree and a Six Sigma Black Belt
- Extensive experience in manufacturing process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process enhancements and achieving tangible results in operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of precision engineering principles and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to develop and execute continuous improvement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Proficiency in project management, with a demonstrated ability to create and oversee project plans.
