Project Engineer
Work for a company that values their employees and is valued in their community. This General Contractor is looking for a Project Engineer to work alongside some of the most well-known Project Managers in downtown Chicago.
Client Details
Our client is in downtown Chicago that focuses on retail and industrial projects. They have a strong pipeline, and average on $150M a year in revenue. With this strong pipeline, they have strong clientele with 70 percent of their revenue being repeated business. Our client has a team of 60 which makes it a tight-knit family environment, with strong collaboration and communication. Their benefits are unmatched with lots of room to grow with the company.
Description
- Help run commercial, retail, and industrial projects with a full team
- Responsible for supporting the team
- Be a part of RFI and submittal process
- Work alongside PM and SPM
- Manage construction equipment
- Project estimating
- Survey and project layout
- Establish communication with subcontractors
- Travel on site throughout the US (25% travel)
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related degree
- 1+ years of experience at a General Contractor/ Subcontractor
- Ground up construction PREFERRED
- Experience with estimating PREFERRED
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Works well in group setting
- Willing to travel (25%) - all paid for by company
