Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve cost-effective manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and support the launch of new or revised products. This role involves troubleshooting equipment, analyzing production data, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and efficient operations.

Description

* Recommend improvements for process optimization, problem resolution, and employee training.
* Enhance manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
* Develop and present plans for process improvements, and manage the deployment, including training team members.
* Monitor the performance and condition of manufacturing equipment.
* Lead investigations into production abnormalities, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
* Identify opportunities for safety improvements and risk mitigation.
* Support capacity analysis and return on investment (ROI) assessments with the Manufacturing Engineering team for current and future plans.
* Assist in time study analysis and capital planning initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering team to improve production control systems, standard operating procedures, safety protocols, quality control, and employee training.
* Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products, including setting goals, training teams, and evaluating results.
* Design, develop, test, and source various tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
* Conduct product and process analysis to drive cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process efficiency.
* Represent the manufacturing department on cross-functional teams.

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

Manufacturing Experience (Metals)

Strong Solidworks design skills

Analysis and Simulation Software Knowledge

Strong multitasking and communication skills
