Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The Superintendent will oversee all on-site activities for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong field leadership, scheduling expertise, and the ability to manage subcontractors and site operations effectively.

Description

Our Superintendent will:

• Oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects
• Manage subcontractor coordination, sequencing, and site logistics
• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe job site environment
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications
• Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate inspections
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope

Profile

The ideal Superintendent will:

• 5-15+ years of experience in commercial construction with a General Contractor
• Strong background in hospitality, interiors, retail, or mixed-use projects
• Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and field operations
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and safety standards
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
