Sr. Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

$140,000 - $165,000/Year

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sr. Construction Project Manager with expertise in managing multifamily and hotel projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of a range of complex projects, while working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Our client is a General Contractor that has continued to grow over the past 10 years and developed a very strong track record of delivering high-quality multifamily and commercial projects.

Description

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of construction projects to ensure their successful completion within budget, scope, and schedule
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective execution of project plans
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control programs
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and team members to review project progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure all construction work is performed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and building codes
  • Liaise with local authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals
  • Manage project risks and opportunities, and implement appropriate mitigation measures
  • Manage project change requests and ensure they are documented and communicated to stakeholders
  • Provide regular project status reports to senior management

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction project management, with specific experience in multifamily and hotel projects
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adept at problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
