Key Responsibiities for Project Superintendent - Public Works Construction in Los Angeles Metro Area

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure safety, schedule, and quality objectives are met.

• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field staff.

• Enforce job site safety and maintain compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations.

• Monitor and report on project progress, materials, and labor.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager, foremen, and public agency representatives.

• Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and RFI tracking.

Profile

A successful Project Superintendent - Public Works Construction in Los Angeles Metro Area

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in public works, preferably on school or DSA-regulated projects.

• Deep knowledge of building and construction methods, scheduling, and safety standards.

• Familiarity with DSA inspections, state building codes, and public contract requirements.

• Proficient in reading blueprints, construction documents, and schedules.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• OSHA 30 Certification required; First Aid/CPR a plus.
