ISO 20022 Testing Analyst
This contract role focuses on testing and documenting system changes related to the ISO 20022 migration, with a particular emphasis on impacts to sanctions screening and transaction monitoring systems. The position involves UAT coordination, FircoSoft list management, and compliance reporting for head office and model risk approvals.

Our client is the U.S. branch of a leading global financial institution, serving as a key hub for corporate and investment banking operations across the Americas. They operate on a hybrid work schedule, with employees expected to work on-site at their Midtown Manhattan office two days per week, supporting a collaborative and dynamic team environment focused on regulatory compliance, risk management, and technology transformation initiatives.
Description
Assess system changes related to ISO 20022 and their impact on sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
Coordinate and perform UAT, including test case development and documentation.
Prepare reports for head office and model risk management approvals.
Manage FircoSoft sanctions list testing and tuning documentation.
Support rule creation, list cleanup, and other compliance tuning efforts.
Collaborate with compliance, tech, and risk teams on implementation and reporting.
Maintain organized testing records and documentation for audit readiness.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in compliance systems, UAT testing, or financial crime technology.
- Working knowledge of ISO 20022 messages, including understanding of wire message structures and transaction flows.
- Experience with sanctions screening systems, such as FircoSoft (list management, tuning, and daily list updates).

Job Offer
The offer for the successful ISO 20022 Testing Analyst applicant includes a competitive hourly pay rate and opportunity to work on a hybrid schedule in Midtown New York City for one of the world's largest Financial Institutions for the duration of a 6-month contract.
