Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up - $95k

We are looking for a motivated and driven Assistant Project Manager to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in the construction industry and a desire to develop into a Project Manager role. You will start by supporting the closeout phase of a $250M high school project in Worcester, MA, before transitioning to a $140M middle school project in Clinton, MA. You will work closely with the Project Management team.

Description

Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up - $95k - Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and management.
• Support the project closeout documentation process.
• Manage submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change orders.
• Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Track and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Resolve project-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Oversee and manage the Owner and Subcontractor Change Orders.

Profile

Assistant Project Manager - Ground Up - $95k - Will have

• 1-4 years of experience in the construction industry (preferably on mid-to-large scale projects).
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with ProCore or other construction management software.
• An Associate's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Open to any project background but experience in public/academic/K-12 projects is a plus.
