Estimator - Commercial Construction
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join a growing commercial general contractor. This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates to support project planning and execution in the Boston area.

Description
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and timelines.
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to understand requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and budgets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and industry trends.
- Assist in bid preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Review and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Provide cost analysis and risk assessment for project planning and decision-making.
- Ensure all estimates and documentation are prepared in a timely and organized manner.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- Project Experience of at least $5M or greater
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for estimating and project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
