Throughout their profound history, they have constructed numerous commercial, institutional, and manufacturing buildings, mixed-use facilities, parking structures, renovations, additions, interior fit-outs, water and waste-water treatment plants and other heavy industrial projects throughout the Midwest.

Description

The Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator will:

• Work closely with client user groups in coordinating their specific requirements.
• Demonstrate a focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Proactively manage project-related issues and mitigate risks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects.
• Purchase orders & subcontract writing
• Create schedules using CPM
• Submittal reviews and processing
• Develop scope, budget and schedule for assigned projects.
• Conduct and document meetings.
• Interact and negotiate with consultants and contractors
• Coordination with on-site Superintendent
• Change order pricing and processing
• Project closeout
• Quantity takeoff
• Detailed cost estimates for self-performed work
• Bid evaluation and comparison

Profile

The successful Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator will have:

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• 5+ years experience as project engineer or project manager
• Experience estimating and running projects from cradle to grave
• Experience running multiple projects at once
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam

Job Offer

On offer for the Commercial Construction Project Manager/Estimator:

• $110,000 - $145,000 Base Salary
