Sr. Principal, Lean Engineer
This senior principal role leads site-wide continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Lean Operating System, driving transformation through problem-solving, kaizen events, and the implementation of visual management and lean tools. The position also focuses on coaching and developing others to build a culture of sustained improvement in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Description
What does your responsibilities look like:
- Collaborate with site leadership to strategize and implement continuous improvement aligned with the Lean Operating System.
- Spearhead targeted transformation projects in key site areas through structured problem-solving and value stream mapping.
- Establish and refine visual and daily management systems for effective factory oversight.
- Lead kaizen events to rapidly implement sustainable improvements on the shop floor.
- Analyze and optimize transactional processes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Train and coach personnel on Lean and CI methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Profile
A successful candidate for this role typically possesses:
- A Bachelor of Science degree coupled with a solid foundation of at least 10 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise and a proven track record in implementing and leading Lean development principles and practices.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills to guide teams through improvement initiatives and build Lean capabilities.
- Proficiency in applying structured problem-solving methodologies and value stream mapping to drive tangible results.
- Experience in developing and deploying visual and daily management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with leadership and engage cross-functional teams
