General Superintendent - Top ENR Ranked GC

Seeking a highly experienced General Superintendent to oversee all field operations on large, high-value commercial projects. This individual will lead jobsite management teams, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure safety, schedule, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved.

Description

  • Lead all field operations on large commercial projects, ensuring schedule adherence, budget control, and quality assurance

  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the activities of superintendents, foremen, and field staff

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project management teams, clients, and subcontractors

  • Oversee implementation of the site-specific safety program and ensure strict compliance with all safety standards

  • Plan, sequence, and coordinate all construction activities and subcontractor work

  • Monitor project schedules and collaborate with PMs to forecast and mitigate delays

  • Ensure compliance with all design specifications, building codes, and quality requirements

  • Conduct regular jobsite meetings and progress reviews with field staff and stakeholders

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in field leadership roles on large commercial construction projects

  • Strong background in industrial, healthcare, stadium, or similar large-scale builds

  • Demonstrated success leading field operations on projects over $100M in value

  • Deep understanding of construction safety, means and methods, scheduling, and quality control

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proficient in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)

  • OSHA 30 Certification required; additional safety credentials a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
