Superintendent
Lead large-scale DSA/K-12 construction projects throughout Los Angeles, overseeing field operations, safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project delivery from start to finish. Client Details
A well-established West Coast general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex DSA/K-12 education projects throughout the Los Angeles market. This role is ideal for a construction leader with strong field operations experience managing occupied campus environments, public works compliance, aggressive schedules, and large subcontractor teams.
Description
- Lead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through closeout
- Manage project schedules, site logistics, safety, and quality control
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, consultants, and owner representatives
- Oversee DSA inspections, documentation, and compliance processes
- Drive production while maintaining safety and project standards
- Mentor field staff, including Assistant Superintendents and Foremen
- Conduct owner meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Coordinate with Project Management teams to maintain budgets and schedules
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Strong background delivering DSA/K-12 or public works projects
- Experience managing projects in occupied campus environments
- Knowledge of California building codes, OSHA, and DSA processes
- Proven ability leading large field teams and subcontractor coordination
- Strong scheduling and leadership skills
- Stable work history with reputable general contractors preferred
