Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Machining - Reading, MA
This role owns the design and delivery of scalable CNC manufacturing processes for production environments. It serves as the technical authority bridging customer requirements, quality strategy, and repeatable execution on the shop floor.

This Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be:
- Leading complex CNC programming and process development
- Designing scalable manufacturing processes for production
- Establishing CNC standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Developing tooling, fixturing, and setup documentation
- Driving quality strategy using metrology and process controls
- Translating customer requirements into manufacturing solutions
- Mentoring engineers and technicians across teams
- Solving enterprise-level manufacturing challenges
- Delivering innovative machining and programming methods
Profile
A Successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have:
- Extensive experience in CNC manufacturing engineering
- Expert-level multi-axis CNC programming capability
- Proven success scaling from prototype to production
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and dimensional quality
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
- Ability to set and govern technical standards
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skill
