This Word Processor role provides specialized document production and formatting support for attorneys, while also handling basic IT helpdesk requests during off-hours. Description

  • Format, edit, and proof legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and memoranda, to firm standards.
  • Generate tables of contents and authorities, apply California legal styles, and perform document bookmarking and hyperlinking.
  • Convert PDFs to Word and reformat as needed, as well as create charts, tables, and presentations.
  • Utilize tools such as Foxit PDF, Change-Pro, and Microsoft Office for document preparation.
  • Provide off-hours IT support, including troubleshooting, file recovery, and remote workstation assistance.
  • Escalate urgent IT issues to on-call staff when necessary.
  • Manage special projects and assist with various administrative or technical tasks as assigned.

Profile

  • Minimum five years' experience in professional services, with law firm experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Foxit PDF, with strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
