Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- On site in Boston, MA - major Hospital projects $50M+
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
- Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
- Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
- Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
- Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure
- Reporting into the General Superintendent
Profile
The successful candidate has:
- 8+ years working for a General Contractor
- Must have largescale $20M + ground up projects
- Ideally Hospital/Healthcare project background
- Proficient in: Procore, MS Projects, MS Office
- Demonstrates good judgement and professionalism
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner
- Attention to detail, can produce quality work on strict deadlines
- Strong technical, computer abilities
- Excellent verbal/written Communication & Leadership skills
