Project Manager - Light Industrial General Contractor

The Project Manager will oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and detailed work plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all project sites.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on project status and outcomes.

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction
  • A solid understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools - MS Project, Autodesk, BuildingConnected
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Public improvement work: road widening, bridges, utilities, traffic lights. Someone who is competent with the processes and procedures working with local jurisdictions and public utility companies

Job Offer

  • Base salary ranging from $122,000 to $157,000, depending on experience.
