Estimator - Retail & Restaurant Projects - Rockland MA

We are partnered with an established commercial general contractor to hire a Mid‑Level Estimator to support a high‑volume retail and commercial pipeline. This role offers strong exposure to repeat national clients, fast project turnaround, and long‑term growth within a stable organization.

Description

• Prepare accurate estimates for multiple retail and commercial projects simultaneously
• Manage 3-4 active estimates at a time with project values ranging from $1M-$5M
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for completeness
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Collaborate directly with internal teams and leadership during preconstruction
• Support a fast‑paced bid environment with typical project durations of ~3 months
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and standards

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• Strong background in construction cost estimation within the business services industry.
• Proficiency in using estimation software and related tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with project teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate estimates.
• Knowledge of industry standards and building codes.

Job Offer

• 2-4 years of construction estimating experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Recent and extensive retail construction estimating experience required
• Background estimating projects such as retail stores, restaurants, or commercial interiors
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and client‑focused mindset
• Self‑starter who is motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow
