Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Miami, FL. This role involves managing construction projects from the office, with 30% travel to job sites, primarily located out of state, focusing on retail projects like Wawa, Chipotle, and other small commercial developments.

Description
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing retail construction projects.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel 30% of the time to job sites outside of Florida to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and project documentation to track progress and ensure transparency.
- Facilitate communication between the office and field teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all job sites.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a construction or project management role, preferably within the retail or commercial sectors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel out of state for job site visits and inspections.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
