Drywall Superintendent
- Drywall superintendent for full service drywall company
- Slight/ Local Travel - projects will take you throughout Tri-County South Florida
Client Details
This full service drywall company works throughout the South Florida area that is owned and operated by a reputable GC in the area. Their office is local to Delray but their diverse commercial work will take this superintendent throughout all three counties in South Florida. Their work in the commercial space includes TI work, ceiling and wall repairs, painting, drywall, water damage, etc.
Description
- Supervise and coordinate all drywall installation activities on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work and requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Manage the drywall crew, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, labor hours, and materials used.
Profile
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- OSHA certification and first aid training are preferred.
