Description
- Assist in organizing and managing commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout.
- Support overall project financial management, including creating and maintaining financial projections.
- Allocate estimates within the accounting system and manage cost codes.
- Approve invoices, generate monthly billings, and oversee budgets.
- Handle financial tracking, accounting, change orders, and schedule management.
- Maintain budgets for trade partners, subcontractors, and suppliers; coordinate their selection.
- Oversee billings, contract creation, and buyouts.
- Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to manage all phases of construction, including site visits.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Build and maintain strong, high-touch client relationships.
- Uphold high standards of quality, safety, risk management, and compliance both on and offsite.
- Attend assigned meetings and training sessions.
- Successfully complete assigned projects.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience as a Project Engineer or construction intern, ideally in commercial or industrial projects.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
