With nearly 40 years of experience, they specialize in Healthcare, Office, Senior Living, and Retail projects, primarily focusing on renovations ranging from $1M to $10M. Their team of 35 dedicated professionals prides themselves in delivering high-quality projects with a commitment to excellence. Their office is located in Lutherville, MD, with project locations in MD, DC, DE, Southern PA, and also expanding into VA.
Description
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting. Ensure all projects are completed within financial parameters.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Address any concerns and provide regular updates.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all plumbing installations meet company standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and obstacles early in the project, developing and implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, overseeing performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Procore (preferred)
- Experience with project scopes ranging from $1M to $10M
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment, drawings, and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
