MEP Construction Superintendent - Manhattan, NY

We are seeking a skilled MEP Superintendent to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on high-profile construction projects in Manhattan. Description

• Oversee all MEP field operations, ensuring systems are installed per design, code, and project standards.

• Coordinate closely with trades, subcontractors, and project management to maintain project schedules and budgets.

• Review drawings, submittals, and shop drawings to resolve technical issues proactively.

• Lead daily site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality control of all MEP work.

• Act as the on-site subject matter expert for MEP systems, troubleshooting issues and driving solutions.

• Maintain strong communication with clients, design teams, and city inspectors throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

• 8+ years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in an MEP Superintendent role.

• Proven background managing large-scale commercial, residential, or institutional MEP systems in NYC.

• Strong knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB requirements, and trade coordination.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades and complex installations.

• Technical proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera, etc.).
