Director of Finance-Construction

$180,000 - $200,000/Year

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Finance-Construction with a strong background in the construction industry and proficiency in Procore. The ideal candidate will be able to manage the Accounting, Financial Planning, develop and execute financial strategies, and drive the financial health of our business.

Description

  • As the Director of Finance-Construction you will direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
  • Ensure credibility of Finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive job cost system
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company
  • Oversee all reviews and audits
  • Manage, hire and train accounting and finance staff
  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions
  • Engage in continuous cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
  • This role is in office and is based in Phoenix, AZ
  • Client will relocate someone to AZ from within the United States if needed

Profile

A successful Director of Finance-Construction should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • This role is in office and is based in Phoenix, AZ
  • Client will relocate someone to AZ from within the United States if needed
