Electronics - Process Engineer - Billerica, MA
The Process Engineer will oversee various aspects of product and process engineering in a modern manufacturing environment. This role involves contributing to product development, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to meet key production goals.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of new customer programs and optimize manufacturability and quality.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop tooling strategies and evaluate existing tooling for efficiency.
- Participate in meetings to address manufacturing challenges and propose necessary process changes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Communicate engineering challenges and design concerns to both internal teams and customers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities by analyzing process data and suggesting enhancements.
- Design and optimize work cells to improve production efficiency and meet required volumes.
- Assist in evaluating new processing techniques, equipment, and quality data to ensure compliance.
Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Manufacturing field.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with PCBA assembly processes, including automation and mechanical assembly techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices and process improvements.
- Proven background in total quality management practices.
- Experience collaborating with customers on new product launches and resolving technical issues.
- Knowledge of ISO-compliant quality systems and procedures.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
