Quality Assurance Engineer

This Quality Assurance Engineer will support and improve the quality systems, processes, and controls that ensure products meet stringent customer and industry standards. They will lead root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Description

• Maintain and support the company's Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 and customer requirements
• Drive root‑cause analysis and manage CAPA activities for internal and external non‑conformances
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate integration into production processes
• Develop and enhance inspection plans, control plans, and testing procedures to support manufacturing excellence
• Analyze inspection and production data to identify trends, prevent defects, and recommend improvements
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues and support audits

Profile

A successful Quality Assurance Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards (preferred)
• Experience using RCA tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, or Fault Tree analysis
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
• U.S. Citizenship and a background in electronics or aerospace manufacturing
