Quality Engineer

Description
Quality Engineer key responsibilities:
- Implement statistical analysis and quality control methodologies to maintain product quality.
- Quality Systems work within ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and prevent quality issues in precision manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality.
- Train and educate personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve quality management systems and processes.
Profile
Successful candidate for the Quality Engineer role:
- B.S. degree
- Strong background in engineering with a focus on mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control methods.
- Experience in precision manufacturing and knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- A commitment to upholding and improving product quality standards.
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures.
- Data analysis and reporting skills to identify and address quality issues.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Certification in quality management or related field (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
