Estimator - Structural Concrete Construction - Bowie, MD
My client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing Mid-Atlantic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in structural concrete estimating, who is comfortable working on complex commercial and industrial projects. The Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate budgets, preparing competitive bids, and supporting pre-construction efforts across a variety of large-scale concrete projects.

Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for cast-in-place concrete projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare bid packages
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
- Participate in budgeting, hard bids, and negotiated proposals
- Track market pricing and subcontractor/vendor costs
- Support pre-construction planning and client presentations
Profile
- Experience estimating structural concrete projects (cast-in-place, tilt-up, slabs, foundations)
- Strong understanding of budgeting, hard bids, and competitive bid strategies
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Open to candidates from general construction estimating backgrounds with a willingness to specialize in concrete
