Our client is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead and enhance their total rewards strategy, ensuring competitiveness in the market while fostering a culture of engagement and retention. Description
- Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs that align with business goals and industry benchmarks.
- Lead job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and market analysis to maintain a competitive pay structure.
- Oversee benefits administration (healthcare, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, etc.), ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Partner with HR and leadership to develop pay structures, incentive programs, and salary review processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Provide strategic insights on trends in total rewards, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering data-driven recommendations on compensation strategies.
- Drive employee education and communication around total rewards offerings.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of job grading, salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits administration.
- Proficient in compensation analytics, HRIS systems, and market data tools (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, etc.).
- Strong communicator with the ability to present data-driven insights to leadership.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to balance both strategy and execution.
- Experience with union and non-union environments is a plus.
