Description

The Mechanical Design Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and tooling for manufacturing and product applications.
• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
• Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and stress calculations to ensure robust designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical issues in production.

Profile

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
