The Trademark Paralegal will manage trademark and copyright matters, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance for client by performing technical tasks that require accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills and computer proficiency.

Description

• Assist attorneys with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of trademark applications.
• Manage and maintain trademark portfolios, including docketing deadlines and correspondence with clients.
• Conduct trademark searches and analyze results to provide recommendations.
• Prepare and file trademark renewal applications and other related documentation.
• Coordinate with foreign associates for international trademark filings and maintenance.
• Support attorneys in opposition and cancellation proceedings, including research and drafting documents.
• Maintain organized files and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and requirements.
• Provide administrative support for trademark-related projects and client matters.

Profile

A successful Trademark Paralegal should have:

• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• 3+ years of trademark paralegal experience.
• Proficiency in trademark law and legal processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with trademark docketing systems and legal research tools.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
