Multifamily Construction Project Manager - Woodbridge, VA

Our client is seeking a mid- to senior-level Project Manager to oversee a large-scale multifamily development currently underway in Dumfries, VA. Following this project, the role transitions to the firm's Bethesda, MD headquarters, offering long-term career growth across a diverse portfolio of high-impact projects ranging from $20M to $200M+.

A highly respected commercial general contractor with over 60 years of success across the D.C. metro region. With a 70/30 split between new construction and interiors, their work spans education, municipal, life sciences, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and commercial markets. Projects consistently range between $20M and $200M+, with notable wins including major higher ed, office, and public-sector developments. Description

• Lead day-to-day management of a $90M+ multifamily new construction project.

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and quality control.

• Interface directly with clients, consultants, internal teams, and field staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

• Use project management tools including Procore, Microsoft Office, Primavera; familiarity with Bluebeam and BIM is preferred.

• Collaborate with and report directly to the Project Executive.

• Participate in long-range planning for future projects across commercial, hospitality, higher ed, life sciences, and municipal sectors.

Profile

• 5-10 years of industry experience with at least 2-3 years in a Project Manager capacity.

• Proven history of managing projects $40M+, ideally with multifamily experience.

• Ability to take initiative and operate independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Professionalism and polish to interface with high-level stakeholders.

Job Offer

• Competitive base salary: $115K-$135K

• Annual bonus based on company performance and individual contribution.
