Development Manager - Baltimore/Frederick/NoVA - Owner's Rep
The Development Manager will oversee land development projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning to completion. The role focuses on securing approvals from government agencies, coordinating civil engineering plans, and managing interactions with various stakeholders. This position offers a blend of project management and civil site design, making it ideal for candidates with experience in development management/civil engineering.

Description
- Manage land development projects, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and project deadlines.
- Oversee the preparation and approval of civil engineering plans.
- Coordinate with government agencies and municipalities to secure permits and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations throughout the development process.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and timelines to ensure projects remain on track.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external contractors, engineers, and consultants.
- Participate in long-term planning and strategy for land acquisition and development.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in land development or civil engineering.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local land development regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Experience in dealing with municipalities and government agencies for permits and approvals.
Job Offer
- Base salary: $120k - $150k, depending on experience.
