Traveling Superintendent - Light Industrial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground‑up light industrial and office construction projects across multiple regions. This role is ideal for a hands‑on field leader who can independently manage jobsite operations, drive schedules, and deliver high‑quality builds in fast‑paced environments.

Description

• Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal project teams across multiple markets.
• Manage jobsite logistics, sequencing, material deliveries, and daily work plans.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct jobsite meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to verify constructability and accuracy.
• Track schedule progress, identify field issues early, and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers to provide updates and align on project goals.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground‑up light industrial and/or office construction projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel for extended durations based on project needs.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and coordinate subcontractor teams.
• A solid understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and schedule management.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
• A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• A consistent safety‑first approach on all jobsites.
