Site Superintendent

As a Site Superintendent, you will oversee all on-site activities for the construction of large custom homes. You will be the on-the-ground leader responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our client is a premier name in the custom home construction space. Their projects are out in the Hamptons and other parts of Riverhead, NY. They are a family-owned shop who takes pride in their work and who takes care of their people.

Description

• Oversee daily on-site operations for custom home construction projects

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and safety regulations

• Maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring milestones are met

• Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and clients to provide updates

• Conduct site inspections and resolve issues proactively

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times

• Track materials, deliveries, and site documentation

Profile

Site Superintendent:

• Proven experience as a site superintendent or foreman in residential construction (custom home experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus

• General knowledge of Building and Construction codes
