Operation Supervisor
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations, this role entails guiding, supervising, and overseeing all shift/team members to uphold a dependable and secure workplace environment. The primary aim is to ensure seamless and consistent plant operations, aligning with the plant's business objectives, quality standards, and daily goals.

Description
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols among employees and subcontractors during work activities.
- Regularly update and monitor SAP data on a daily basis.
- Oversee and implement production planning for the plant, including daily and weekly MRP scheduling.
- Manage and address system defects and process troubleshooting for enhanced plant performance reliability, coordinating maintenance tasks and documentation.
- Schedule and allocate resources to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Develop and advance the careers of operations team members through cross-training and internal promotions, while addressing performance issues directly and proactively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to schedule additional cleanup technicians, maintaining plant cleanliness and safety.
- Strive for safe, clean, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations, meeting KPI targets and maximizing system throughput.
- Ensure product quality, yield maximization, and adherence to specifications, while fostering a culture of zero defects across all teams.
- Cultivate a teamwork-oriented culture, providing constructive feedback professionally.
- Support change management initiatives and provide necessary employee warnings or counseling when required.
- Assist in new product development initiatives.
- Enforce established guidelines for system operation among operators and technicians.
- Ensure full execution and implementation of HACCP Program and SQF by operations and each operator.
- Prepare and analyze operation reports.
- Fulfill any other duties as requested or required.
Profile
The successful Operations Supervisor will have what follows:
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field (such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent technical work experience is essential.
- Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively increasing supervisory roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP software is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and schematics.
- Capability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) certification.
- Prior experience in manufacturing plants or refineries is preferred.
