Description

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for:

• Familiarity with core manufacturing and quality tools such as FMEA, Design for Manufacturability (DfM), and Statistical Process Control.
• Experience driving improvements through Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen initiatives.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or ProE for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
• Comfort using inspection tools like calipers, force gauges, and other precision hand tools.
• Exposure to machining and/or precision mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of CMM inspection equipment.
• A strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and awareness of regulatory requirements like RoHS and REACH.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) to support reporting and analysis.

Profile

The successful Manufacturing Process Engineer will have a background that follows:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or processes engineering space
• Background in metal and sheet metal fabrication
• Bring a strong foundation in mechanical engineering with a focus on manufacturing and process improvement.
• Be comfortable moving between design, hands-on troubleshooting, and production support.
• Have experience applying quality and manufacturing tools (FMEA, DfM, SPC) to solve real-world problems.
• Show confidence in using inspection tools and equipment to ensure precision and quality.
• Understand the importance of standards and compliance, including ISO 9001, RoHS, and REACH.
• Be highly organized and analytical, using Excel and other tools to track progress and outcomes.
