Sales Manager, Personal Care Division - North America
The Sales Manager, Personal Care Division - North America, will lead sales initiatives and drive growth within the personal care industry. This role requires expertise in business services and a proven ability to build strong client relationships.

The business is in the midst of an exciting transformation-evolving from an asset-based model to a market-focused organization-and investing heavily in its Personal Care division to accelerate growth across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
With a strong foundation of trusted, industry-staple brands, the Personal Care team is now seeking a Sales Manager to lead a talented commercial team and set the direction for long-term growth in the region.
Description
The Sales Manager, Personal Care - North America will lead a team of approximately six sales professionals and one support member, driving growth across both regional and global key accounts. This role reports directly to the Head of Home & Personal Care Specialties and plays a key role in delivering strategic sales objectives while cultivating a performance-driven, value-based culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team, instilling accountability, initiative, and a growth mindset.
- Manage select strategic accounts while driving profitable growth across both direct and distribution channels.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to define product strategy, pricing, and portfolio direction.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and opportunity pipeline management in line with growth and profitability targets.
- Identify market trends and emerging opportunities, guiding innovation and new product development priorities.
- Drive value-added, solution-oriented selling while strengthening customer relationships at multiple organizational levels.
- Support expansion of strategic relations with global and regional accounts, ensuring alignment across key functions.
- Play a hands-on role in both tactical execution and strategic planning-balancing near-term performance with long-term direction.
- Promote safety, ethical standards, and company values across all customer and internal interactions.
- This is a high-visibility leadership role with direct influence over commercial strategy, team culture, and the next phase of growth for one of the company's most strategically significant business units.

Profile
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 10+ years of commercial experience within specialty chemicals or personal care ingredients.
- Proven team leadership experience, ideally managing 4-6+ direct reports in a sales environment.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to drive both top- and bottom-line growth.
- Deep understanding of formulation-based ingredient selling and collaboration with R&D and Marketing.
- A strategic yet hands-on mindset-able to think big-picture while executing on day-to-day priorities.
- Proven ability to coach and elevate a team in value-based selling and account planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across global, cross-functional environments.
- A track record of success in agile, performance-driven organizations.
