APM - Commercial Interiors Construction
The Assistant Project Manager works within the Project Management team which is responsible for planning and oversight of projects from preconstruction to completion to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome.

- Up-and-coming General Contractor based 30 minutes north-west of Boston!
- Specialize in 'special projects' other companies avoid within the healthcare, life sciences, infrastructure/core + shell, and commercial construction markets - typically along the 495 belt with 98% repeat client business year on year!
Description
- Assist with preconstruction, track bidding, engage subcontractors for proposals.
- Assist with tracking change orders, collecting backup and vetting process.
- Create and maintain accurate project documents.
- Assist with setting up newly awarded projects according to company's requirements.
- Distribute project documents to team members accordingly.
- Assist with project buyout, leveling scopes, etc.
- Issue Project Specific Agreements to applicable Subcontractors.
- Participate in recurring team meetings.
- Issue accurate and timely meeting agendas/minutes.
- Track Subcontractor compliance items.
- Review submittals for accuracy and submit to design team.
- Assist project team with the reaction and distribution of RFI's.
Profile
- General understanding of industry, construction materials and methods.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or applicable discipline.
- Basic computer skills - proficient in Procore & Microsoft Office Applications.
- OSHA 30 certification (training covered by company).
- Ability to read and interpret project plan set, specifications, and submittals.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- General understanding of industry, construction materials and methods

Job Offer
- Starting base salary ranging between $75K-$95K - dependent on level of existing experience.
