Description

As a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent, you will oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.

The Superintendent or Senior Super - Data Centers - Herndon, VA will have the following responsibilities:

• Superintendent:

  • Manage daily operations on site, including scheduling, coordination of trades, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure successful project execution
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and local regulations
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction
  • Maintain a strong relationship with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth operations

• Senior Superintendent:

  • Lead large-scale, complex mission-critical projects, including data centers ($250M+)
  • Supervise and manage multiple superintendents and subcontractors on-site
  • Oversee site logistics, safety, quality, and progress of all phases of construction
  • Provide direction and leadership for project team members, ensuring efficiency and clear communication
  • Report project status and issues to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with project goals and timeline
  • Ensure project costs, quality, and timelines are effectively controlled

Profile

The Superintendent or Senior Super - Data Centers - Herndon, VA will have the following qualifications:

• For Superintendent:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably with experience in data centers, healthcare, MEP, or life sciences
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams on construction sites
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance with building codes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Experience working with general contractors (not developers or clients)

• For Senior Superintendent:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management with a focus on data centers or large-scale, complex projects ($250M+)
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing multiple construction teams
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, safety protocols, and building codes
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple teams on high-budget, high-complexity projects
  • Experience with general contractors (not developers or clients)

Job Offer

The Superintendent or Senior Super - Data Centers - Herndon, VA will receive:

• Salary:
  • Superintendent: $110,000 - $140,000
  • Senior Superintendent: $170,000 - $250,000
