The Operational Excellence Manager, industrial manufacturing, will lead quality, continuous improvement, safety, and process engineering initiatives to drive operational performance. They will work closely with the Plant Manager to implement best practices and support the achievement of world-class manufacturing standards onsite at our Bedford, MA facility.

Description

The Operational Excellence / Lean Manager - Industrial Manufacturing, will:

• Lead and execute cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage and support new product development and introduction projects.
• Apply change management strategies to drive operational improvements.
• Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve performance goals.
• Oversee engineering activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
• Utilize strong leadership and results-oriented decision-making skills.
• Collaborate across departments to support project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Leverage mechanical or industrial engineering knowledge in daily operations.
• Draw on 5+ years of relevant engineering or management experience.
• Apply Turbo machinery experience where applicable.
• Ensure project outcomes meet timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Comfortable being on the floor 50% of the time at minimum
• Onsite at our Bedford, MA location

Profile

• Bilingual-English & Spanish
• Background in Industrial Manufacturing - spending 50% plus on the floor
• Proven lean Six Sigma background (process improvement, gemba walks, etc.)
• Ideally coming from a Lean or Operational Excellence Manager role, or adjacent
• Comfortable supporting the plant manager
• Local to Bedford, MA and comfortable being onsite daily
