Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale roadway and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. They manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope while mitigating risks and maintaining quality.

Our client is a family-owned heavy civil construction firm based inNew Jersey, with roots dating to 1925.

  • Heavy highway and bridge construction
  • Heavy concrete, sitework, and excavation
  • Structural steel fabrication
  • Marine construction and utility work
  • Emergency response, maintenance, and power/energy projects

Description

  • Plan and oversee project execution for highways, bridges, and related infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to align resources.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage risk and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment for project needs.
  • Lead safety initiatives and enforce OSHA and DOT standards on-site.

Profile

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
