CNC Engineer/Programmer - Aerospace - Manchester, NH
This CNC Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer will be responsible for developing, validating, and troubleshooting CNC programs while collaborating closely with machinists, engineering, and quality teams. The position requires strong MasterCAM and G-code programming skills, fixture design experience, and a hands-on approach to ensuring high-quality aerospace-grade components.

Description
This CNC Engineer/Programmer will:
- Develop and implement CNC programs from technical drawings and CAD files, including detailed setup documentation.
- Select appropriate raw stock sizes and design workholding fixtures when required.
- Troubleshoot programming issues during setup and first-piece runs, and identify opportunities to reduce cycle times.
- Maintain a library of CNC programs and ensure proper documentation.
- Create, document, and maintain shop procedures and best practices.
- Assist with machine setup and provide technical support to machinists.
- Collaborate with engineering, machinists, and quality teams to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
- Inspect parts using standard inspection tools and techniques.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safety-conscious working environment.
Profile
A successful CNC Engineer/Programmer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of CNC programming/manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficient in MasterCAM and G-code programming for complex parts.
- Strong knowledge of machining methodology, feeds and speeds, tooling selection, and blueprint reading.
- Experience designing workholding fixtures and supporting machine setups.
- Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing cycle times.
- Familiar with inspection techniques and standard measurement tools.
- Highly organized with meticulous documentation and record-keeping skills.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
