Legal Secretary
This position provides comprehensive administrative and legal support to a single attorney, ensuring efficient management of daily tasks such as time entry, document preparation, billing coordination, and court filings. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can maintain accurate records, handle scheduling, and manage a variety of communications with minimal supervision.

The client is a reputable and well-established law firm with a strong presence in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. They emphasize a professional and collaborative environment where administrative staff play a vital role in supporting attorneys and ensuring that client matters are handled with accuracy, discretion, and efficiency.
Description
- Daily entry and reconciliation of attorney time
- Drafting and finalizing legal documents and correspondence
- Collaborating on billing and expense reporting
- Preparing probate court documents and managing eFiling
- Maintaining attorney calendars, files, and handling mail and communication logistics
Profile
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experienced in supporting attorneys in a legal setting, preferably with knowledge of probate and Connecticut court
- systems
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, legal software (iManage, Aderant, etc.), and electronic court filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
Job Offer
- Salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience
