Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale, focusing on commercial construction projects. This role supports project execution from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Description

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising commercial construction projects.

• Track project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project workflow.

• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, and change orders.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

• Support project closeout and handover, ensuring client satisfaction and proper documentation.

Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction project management or as an assistant PM.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contracts.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) is preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Offer
